Facebook scam

Facebook just tried to scam me for money. I received a message from surprisingly one of my friends, saying in broken Russian that she's got robbed in London (?) under a gunpoint and left there with no money. I was so obviously chatting with a program: after my greeting "what's up?" it answered "not good" - presuming that I would say "how are you?" And after I switch into Russian it continued about being stuck "без деньги и пища". Ridiculous. I suppose that it's English is much better and it could fool an English-speaking person more effectively, so I warn you to be careful and don't believe easily any cries for help - especially from people who were never helpless before.
