Things, that most people love and I hate

1. Massage

I don't know what's wrong with me, but all the massages I had in my life were really painful and not pleasant at all. I am not even talk about some stranger touching me. Eww!

2. Manicure and pedicure

OK, I have this rule that is probably not completely reasonable and shouldn't be put in the Constitution, but I obey it just because it just feel wrong to not to. I do not pay another person to do something to me if I am not willing to do the same to that person. Now look at your pedi lady: would you do the same to her?.. Exactly.

3. Sauna

Well, that is just too hot. And naked.

4. Hairless animals

Do I really need to explain?

5. Night clubs

No, it's not just an age thing, I didn't really like them when I was younger. Low bass sounds that make some people ecstatic, drive me crazy: I feel like my rib cage vibrates and hair on my hands stand up. You can't really talk in there: not with my tiny voice. You have to hold on your purse and try to not get robbed, you stay in line to the ladies' room and generally feel miserable.

6. Yoga

I am probably the most non-flexible person in the world, so most of asanas are just unachievable for me, and the rest require so much effort, that I am holding on my last breath and absolutely unable to think about all that new-age stuff. And again: yoga is supposed to help you relaxing your mind and soul - and I never actually strain nether my mind or my soul. So there...

Next time I promis to list the things that many people hate and I am sort of OK with them. But now it's your turn!

  1. Hairless animals makes sense. I've never been too comfortable around geckos myself. But bearsharks, well that's a different story. We're not so bad.

  2. 6 out of 6, more or less. I'm kinda okay with giving others a manicure 'cos I spent most of my youth training as a classical guitarist -- and that meant taking good care of my nails and helping my sister with hers too. But pedicures are out.
