Passport babies
Sometimes people's intentions are so weird and so far-reaching. Apparently, Canadian government is considering making changes in the immigration law to target so called "birth tourism": when people travel to Canada with the sole purpose to give birth here, so the newborn baby would become a Canadian citizen and later sponsor the whole family so they all move to Canada.I'd say: those are people with a plan.

Wow. Scanning this visually from the top at first (as that is all that fits in my screen), your post hints at what the rest of the image will be - but when I finally see the whole image, it's quite a punch. Wow. The knife-edge lighting around the delivery doctors is a bit of a visual hint of the narrow window of opportunity, and possible misreading of intentions, for a couple who might be traveling for other reasons entirely. Well done!
