I saw old colored photographs of famous geishas from XIX century and they inspired me on this:



It is still work in progress. I fell that it should be more stylized, less realistic, more looking like a Japanese woodcuts.

    You are right, Jane! I did use a little salt - I am still not very comfortable with this technique - half of the times the salt didn't dissolve completely and get stuck to the paper >:(
