Pre-Valentine Problems

Here is a brand-new sketch I doodle up today. I have no idea how to work this illustration. Don't really want to make it in my usual harsh digital manner. Not confident enough to put it into watercolors. Don't own color pencils. Nether good pastels. And I hate acrylic paint. Ugh, good sketch is such a nuisance, it's like a really bright and talented child of very poor parents. I can't afford to put it into college, you see. Poor bastard is going to the army.
What do you think I should do with it?

  1. Have you looked into styling this after vintage postcards? Sort of sepia colored, muted background, muted colors... even if digital?

  2. ну, напиши их маслом (шучу)
классно бы такие куколки выглядели 3D как в старых мультиках

  3. Personally, I think it looks fantastic just the way it is! Kind of like old sketches of Disney cartoons before they were colored in.
