Beautiful Paper Goods on Etsy

I suddenly realized that I don’t need to camp at the Etsy’s treasury page, waiting for a spot to open, to showcase some of my favourite artists: I have my own blog!

Today I would like to present three amazing craftsmen who make beautiful things out of paper. Each one of them has their own easily recognizable style and their own way to work with materials.

This beautiful art card is made by Scott of Two Guitars shop. This is his typical layered design where the front image is screen-printed on semi-transparent vellum and then attached by four eyelets to the map and to the card.

Artist’s Trade Marks:
- Gocco screen-printing
- Layering, using translucent vellum paper
- Vintage objects and travel as artwork themes
--------------------------------------------------------

This exquisite notebook was created by Sharon of Secret Leaves. I love her subtle elegant color schemes, and the way she uses special vintage paper for her creations.

Artist’s Trade Marks:
- Using exotic postage stamps for embellishment
- Combining patterns and textures
- Reusing vintage paper items
--------------------------------------------------------

And this piece, made by amazing Li of Papercutdiecut, was actually hand-cut from a sheet of a rice paper. Do I really need to say more?

Artist’s Trade Marks:
- Elaborative hand-made paper cuts
- XIX-century book design style
- Traditional Chinese themes

Thank you, guys for agreing to be part of this shout-out. Good luck with your work.
