Don't trick-or-treat if you can't handle the heat

I was reading about fabulous illustrator Ethel Hays and enjoying her cute and funny cartoons, and, being so easily influenced as I was, I immediately had an urge to draw a cartoon Ethel-style. Well, it doesn't LOOK like Ethel's, but it sort of has the similar theme.
