Congratulation on a new week! Well, I am pretty happy today. First, one of my dolls made it to the Etsy Stork - isn't it cool? Crystal the bridesmaid is in the bridal Etsy finds - hurray! This is a picture that will make me famous someday:
Then, I finally found the time to take away winter clothes and take out some of our summer stuff. And on the way, I saved my favourite T-shirt from getting thrown away. It shrunk, you see, and it shrunk very weirdly: got tight in arms and across the chest, but it didn't get shorter.
So I cured it American Apparel style: cut off the sleeves and cut a wide boat neck. And - voila! See ho happy I am with the results?
And BTW, thanks to my fabulous hairdresser Katya aka "Coiffeuse" I got a brand-new cool haircut. Now I do look like a jazz-babe!
I am also taking a new client for a corporate identity design, which I am very excited about. I really like designing logos - it is an intellectual problem as well as creative, and I my brain is starting to get a little mushy during the last all-art-no-thinking month. Although I was reading a pretty interesting book: "Brand Failures" by Matt Haig. Did you know they tried to sell clear Pepsi - as in colorless, like water? That was a weird idea.... But not as weird as smokeless cigarettes.
